1. alexa

With millions of units sold, Amazon's Alexa is by far the most financially successful chatbot. Alexa has over 30 thousand skills. Skills, in Alexa terminology, are applications that allow Alexa to perform specific voice tasks. So Alexa, with its huge developer community, has more skills than any other chatbot. She can help with shopping, play music, and even take surveys. 
 
 

2. google assistant

Google Assistant is available in all Android phones with a swipe of the screen. Google Assistant serves as a reply suggestion engine in Google's messaging platforms. In addition, Assistant can answer questions and learn about the user to provide personalized messages or suggestions. The feature called "Scheduled Actions" enables the use of smart devices. For example, users can use a smart coffee maker or smart home lighting system with Google Assistant.  
 
 

3. WHO health alert

In December 2019, the coronavirus pandemic began. False statements and conspiracy theories kept popping up on social media. There were misleading news on the internet, so the World Health Organization (WHO) launched chatbot services. This is called "WHO Health Alert" and responds in Arabic, English, French, Hindi, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. With its partners WhatsApp and Facebook, the health bot aims to prevent the spread of fake news about the coronavirus. 
 
 

4. woebot as a free therapy chatbot

 
Woebot was developed by Alison Darcy, a psychologist at Stanford University. It launched in 2018 as an iOS app. Woebot uses cognitive behavioral therapy to give users scripted responses. Students who suffered from depression tested Woebot and their improvements were published in a research paper. 
 
 

5. "Freddy" by HelloFresh 

 
HelloFresh launched its bot to manage its surveys. When Facebook users answered quiz questions correctly, Freddy sent them automated offers. HelloFresh thus reduced support wait times. The bot responds immediately to the numerous queries, lowering the average response time. 
 
 

6. IKEA collects customer feedback

 
IKEA has developed a chatbot called ORC to gather customer insights. The bot offers incentives, uses emojis and asks meaningful questions. It's all about gaining insights and having a conversation with customers. The survey allows IKEA to gather a lot of information in a single session. 
 
 

7. zalando bot

 
After an order is placed, customers want to stay up to date on shipping information. Traditionally, the process for such information has been to get the delivery status through the shipping number. Implementing a chatbot solution simplifies this process and provides searchers with a convenient customer experience. Customers stay informed by entering the shipping number in the voice field. Zalando uses chatbot technology to provide its customers with instant order tracking directly after purchase.
